Tr\u00eas mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o e um de pris\u00e3o preventiva foram cumpridos em Tarumirim\/MG; e um mandado de busca e apreens\u00e3o e um de pris\u00e3o preventiva foram cumpridos em Sardo\u00e1\/MG. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Foram apreendidos documentos diversos, aparelhos celulares, ve\u00edculos e moedas nacional e estrangeira. As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es tiveram in\u00edcio neste m\u00eas, com base em informa\u00e7\u00f5es recebidas da adid\u00e2ncia da Pol\u00edcia Federal que atua no M\u00e9xico. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Os investigados responder\u00e3o, na medida de cada culpabilidade, pelos crimes de promo\u00e7\u00e3o de migra\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal e associa\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa; podendo cumprir at\u00e9 nove anos e meio de pris\u00e3o, caso sejam condenados. O nome \u201cCAI CAI\u201d faz refer\u00eancia ao modus operandi dos envolvidos. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cada adulto ingressava ilegalmente nos Estados Unidos da Am\u00e9rica acompanhado de crian\u00e7a ou adolescente, buscando evitar a deporta\u00e7\u00e3o imediata.
